C++ is the only professional programming language

That's sad to hear, because C++ is really the only good language there ever was and ever will be.

Java is mostly for lazy people, who don't want to go deeper into the rabbits hole and find out how cross-platform development with OpenGL, GLUT, SDL, STL, etc... really works.

At least I can say that all my C++ programs work on any platform, it's really simple if you keep it simple.
